BOI was the first company to develop and implement "Aircraft Specific" training seminars. These 40 hour training seminars are designed to educate potential PMB operators about the history, proper procedures, protective equipment, aircraft masking, skin mapping, optimizing blast parameters for metallic and non-metallic surfaces, aircraft stress and saturation curved, pre and post inspections and pitfalls of the Plastic Media Blasting Process.

BOI Training is designed around the facility's workload. BOI instructors bring the classroom to the blast facility, and a production aircraft is used for training operators. This eliminates any down time for the blast facility.
